WORLD MISSIONS AT BCA

Our missions team has voted to support ALL Northwest District foreign missionaries. This will keep us praying, working, giving, going, educating, promoting missions like never before! We participate in Short Team Mission Outreaches and we assist our missionaries by hosting & supporting events such as Speed-the-Light and Boys & Girls Missionary Crusade.

Please pray for the safety of all our missionaries.

FOREIGN MISSIONS
At present we support 40 foreign missionaries serving in 31 countries. The financial support for these missionaries is made possible by the generous giving of the people at Bethany. We do not provide a complete list of them online, as some serve in sensitive areas.

Specific giving includes: THE BOYS AND GIRLS MISSIONARY CRUSADE (BGMC) providing Sunday School materials; SPEED THE LIGHT (STL) providing transportation and communication equipment through the teens & young adults giving; LIGHT FOR THE LOST (LFTL) providing Bibles, tracts, and Gospel literature through the men's giving; COIN COLLECTION and CHRISTMAS IN OCTOBER are women's giving projects.

HOME MISSIONS
At present we support four home missionaries and are involved in Northwest University, Cedar Spring Camp, CASA, CareNet Benevolence, NW District Teen Challenge, New District Home Missions, and NW District Shared Responsibility.

TALK TIME
Talk Time is a joint missions outreach opportunity sponsored by ISI (International Students Incorporated), Bethel Baptist Church Everett, and Bethany Christian Assembly Everett. TT gives internationals an opportunity to practice English conversation skills in a fun and friendly, environment. Each week we meet, play board games, have team activities, and then discuss a topic. The topic is usually related to current events such as holidays, family, photography, friends and so on.

Talk Time Everett has been meeting for over four years, and is free to anyone wanting to participate. Special events such as day hikes to Mt. Rainier, or weekend trips camping or skiing are planned. We have participants from many countries including Japan, China, Vietnam, Mexico, Russia and the Ukraine.

We have never had a need in this process but that the Lord has used BCA as a part of the answer. COMPASSION EVERETT DINNERS
Our Compassion Everett Ministry provides dinners each Sunday for the needy in our community. Partnering with Volunteers of America, we also help provide food.

SHORT TERMS OUTREACH MISSIONS
If you are interested in going on one of BCA's STORM trips, please email Fenton Rees for more information. Trip destinations in the works include Chad, and Costa Rica.

JAIL MINISTRY
Jail visitation, Bible Study, prayer and counseling are part of a special need that BCA is involved with to reach out to the community.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Yearly outreach events include: our Easter and Christmas productions, Vacation Bible School (VBS), Friend Day Weekends, EggStravaganza (Easter Egg Hunt), and more!
