Fourth of July in Rome!
Here we are in Rome during the Fourth of July! In addition to celebrating Reggie’s birthday, we visited the Vatican Museums, St. Peter’s Square and Basilica, the Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain. Just a short time for a nap before we head home! It’s been a wonderful trip of learning and wonder. What a blessing it has been to learn more about the Bible by visiting the lands in which many of the events took place!

Rome!
Our incredible trip to Israel has become a sweet memory as we now continue our journey to Rome. Today we visited the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Palatine Palace, and Paul’s Maritime Prison. In addition, many of us visited the Pantheon and then our entire group toured the Catacombs on the Appian Way. One more day of touring and then we will begin our journey home! Thanks for all of your prayers for strength and safety for our travelers.

City of David, Western Wall, & the Temple Mount
Today was our last full tour day of the City of Jerusalem with our guide Mark. We began the day by exploring the Western Wall tunnel, which is located deep beneath Old Jerusalem. From there, we experienced the magnificence of the Western Wall, where many of us took time to pray before we ventured up to the Temple Mount and learned more of ancient Jerusalem and its Old and New Testament connections. We then had the privilege of visiting the excavations taking place at the Western Wall and the Southern Temple Staircase, where our Lord Jesus taught. We ended the day with an adventurous trek through Hezekiah’s Tunnel before we all gathered together for a meal in order to celebrate our final evening in Israel. Praise God for keeping everyone safe and sound and blessing us all with a faith-building trip of a lifetime. Next stop: Rome!
Here we are at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

NEW UPDATED Jerusalem and Bethlehem
Today we made our way from the Mt. of Olives through the Kidron Valley and down the Via Dolorosa. On the way some of our brave ones jumped on a camel for a short ride (see pictures below)! We had a very rich experience, remembering our Lord each step of the way. We also ventured into Palestinian territory through a security checkpoint in order to visit the Church of the Nativity at Bethlehem. And we arrived back at our hotel SAFE AND SOUND!
Everyone is healthy and happy and feeling blessed to be in the Holy Land! If you need to get a message to one of our travelers, email Lisa at lisac@bca-online.com.
