Giving Options
For your convenience, Bethany Christian Assembly has chosen to make multiple methods of giving available. You may give via the offering in a service, mailing your contribution to the office, by on-line bill paying, by Electronic Funds Transfer, by using the debit/credit card forms available in the service, or by on-line giving via our web-site.
Debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases when used responsibly. Bethany Christian Assembly strongly urges no one to give their tithe or other offering with a credit card unless they are able to pay it off each month. Although many pay off their credit cards each month, some do not. We do not want God’s people to go into debt and pay interest on gifts to the church. We believe use of a credit card is an issue to leave between you and God.
Please remember that when using a debit/credit card as much as 2 to 3% of your gift can go to the card company as processing fees, thus reducing the amount BCA receives. You can increase your amount given to offset those fees, but this is only a suggestion.
To make use of this method of giving, please fill out the Debit/Credit Card Information form, along with a giving envelope. Fold the form and seal it inside the envelope when completed. The form will function as the merchant’s copy charge slip. The giving envelope will be used to record your giving for tax purposes (as well as protect your card information from unauthorized access.)
