Rethinking Manhood

Hey BCA!  Very glad to be on this winning team with you and am excited about this Sunday—Super Bowl Sunday.  I’m rooting for the Seahawks, how about you?!! (So I’m dreaming a bit).

Super Bowl Sunday is also commitment Sunday at BCA.  This is the day we have been looking forward to for some time now as the day we make our commitments for Phase 5 of our Believing, Building, and Belonging expansion campaign.  Our new chapel, new classrooms, and new restrooms will be a huge blessing in furthering the work of God here at Bethany.  No one can make this happen by themselves, but by working together we have seen the amazing things God can do through a group of people committed to His purposes.  So this Sunday, I encourage you to do what you can for this God honoring project.  Our kids and youth programs need the space.  Our growing Traditions services as well as new midweek services and weddings and funerals and more will be hugely blessed by the new Chapel.  I’m very excited about what God is up to.  Pray with me for a miracle Sunday this Sunday.

In addition, I’m really fired up to bring a powerful and straightforward message from the life of Joseph.  This Sunday’s message in our Rethinking Life series is entitled “Rethink Manhood.”  There will be a lot here for you gals to but I want to address the men in a special way as we pull out the keys for godliness and greatness found in Joseph.  Don’t miss this Sunday and bring your Bible (leatherbound, paperback, ipad, smart phone—any way you like it).  Keep reading Genesis 37-50 as we grow in Christ together.
