Our 2010 Seniors in Disneyland
This past week we had the opportunity to take 10 students from this years graduating class down to California. We started our adventure with an 18 hour van ride, which was full of some crazy moments singing along to favorite Disney songs, playing I-Spy, listening to tone deaf Chris Perry try to sing a Miley Cyrus song, and watching movies. Once we arrived to our hotel we hit the pool for the afternoon and then headed to Downtown Disney to watch Toy Story 3. The following day we woke up early to be first in line for Disneyland. The day was a non-stop blitz going from ride to ride to make sure we could get everything in. One of my favorite moments was watching Candace scream and chase after Winnie the Pool as he walked by. We ended the day with everyone in California Adventure to watch the epic new water light show.

After our 14 hour day in Disneyland we decided to chill out and hit up Huntington beach the following day. Here we were able to soak up the sun, play volleyball, go shopping on the boardwalk, and even try our hand at surfing. As the sun went down we walked out to Ruby’s Dinner at the end of Pier and stuffed ourselves with All American burgers and milk shakes. Our last day in Cali was spent in Hollywood getting pictures with our favorite actors sidewalk stars, exploring the Kodak Theater, and shopping in the open air mall.
This trip was an incredible success as friendships were formed and life long memories were made.
