October 2:  Vision Sunday

During both Sunday morning services this weekend, we will focus on VISION! Vision Sunday is the day we will receive our One Day’s Wage to Bless the World offering. Everyone that can is encouraged to give the equivalent of one day’s wage to bless local and global missions. I’m excited to see what God does through us as a church.

Around the World in 8 Days

Experience Missions 2011 wrapped up with a packed activity center and hopping children’s center as nearly 400 adults, youth, and children gathered for our annual missions banquet.  The food and fellowship was incredible as always.  Missionary Andy Ratz shared about the Freedom House in Moldova and as a church we sacrificed our finances and partnered in prayer to insure that Jesus is shared with the abused, broken, and hopeless of this land.  All week long we celebrated the huge opportunity to...

BCA Has a New Lobby and Much More!

This Sunday we kick of Experience Missions 2011.  Each service will be a multi-sensory experience as we travel “Around the World in 8 Days” through the stories of our missionaries and impacting media.  It is going to be an incredible 8 days as we review our call and celebrate the great things happening around the world in missions.

Our new lobby will open on March 20th.  Great progress is happening each week and we are now oh so close.  I am excited about the different features this space...

We did it! $100,000 on our 100th Birthday!

From today’s bulletin:

Giving $100,000 on our 100th Birthday! Way to go, BCA! We did it! Thank you for your incredible generosity to our $100,000—100 year birthday celebration gift to Missions. $50,000 will go to our local missions projects and $50,000 to our global missions projects. Missions Banquet Tonight

If you signed up for the Missions Banquet tonight, we look forward to seeing you at 5 PM in the Activity Center!

This is an awesome grand finale event to our EM10 missions week with guest missionary speaker Bill Snyder. This Experience Missions event is a favorite each year, as we go all out to recognize our missionaries and their dedication to service! A wonderful banquet menu has been prepared, and we look forward to sharing this time with you!

12,000 People Touched Through Sunday’s Offering

Thank you for giving a little over $14,000 in our Haiti compassion offering this past Sunday. Our goal was to raise $10,000 which would provide one container of food, water, and medical supplies through Convoy of Hope. Each container touches over 12,000 people. Your gracious giving went over and above our goal. More money and supplies are needed so if you would like to give this Sunday please mark your giving “Haiti relief.”
