VISION-- A clear picture of a preferred future.

The Great Commission—Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matt. 28:19, 20

The Great Commandment—Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments. Matt 22:37-40

5 COMMITMENTS I MUST OWN.

1. FELLOWSHIP — THE COMMITMENT TO BELONG AND INCLUDE OTHERS.
I Thess. 5:11—-Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

2. DISCIPLESHIP — THE COMMITMENT TO GROW AND HELP OTHERS GROW.
Col. 1:28—-We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

3. SERVICE — THE COMMITMENT TO SERVE THE LORD AND OTHERS.
Mark 10:43-45--…whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. (See also 2 Cor. 8, 9)

4. OUTREACH — THE COMMITMENT TO HELP OUTSIDERS BECOME INSIDERS.
Col 4:5-—Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. (See also I Thess. 4:12; I Tim 3:7.)

OUTREACH IN 3D
· Reach Out and win somebody
· Reach In and include somebody
· Reach Around and encourage somebody

5. WORSHIP AND PRAYER — THE COMMITMENT TO LIVING A LIFE OF SURRENDER AND DEPENDENCE.
2 Chron. 2:5,6—-The temple I am going to build will be great, because our God is greater than all other gods. But who is able to build a temple for him, since the heavens, even the highest heavens cannot contain him? Who then am I to build a temple for him, except as a place to burn sacrifices before him?
