EVERYONE NEEDS TO BELONG TO A... 

1. Community of care  

Romans 13:8--Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellowman has fulfilled the law.

2. Circle of encouragement  

1 Thessalonians 5:11, 12--Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 
Now we ask you, brothers, to respect those who work hard among you, who are over you in the Lord and who admonish you. 

Galatians 6:2--Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. 

3. Cadre of prayer 

Ephesians 6:18--And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

The path of the Christian is the path of community... 

John 17:20-23--My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 
that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 
I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 
I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
