Ephesians 3:17-19 [LB]--I pray... you will be able to feel and understand... how long, how wide, how deep, and how high his love really is; and to experience this love for yourselves. 

I know God loves me because... 

1. He made me.  

Psalm 145:17--The LORD is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all he has made. 

Psalm 103:13,14 [LB]--God is like a Father to us, tender and sympathetic... He knows we are but dust. 

2. He notices every detail of my life. 

Matthew 10:30--And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 

3. He gave me the capacity for pleasure. 

1 Timothy 6:17--...God...richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. 

4. He has good plans for my life. 

Jeremiah 29:11--”For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” 

John 10:10--...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. 

5. He sent Christ to die for me. 

Romans 5:8--But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 

6. He forgives me when I ask Him. 

Romans 3:23-24--Yes, all have sinned; yet now God declares us “not guilty” ...if we trust in Jesus Christ, who freely takes away our sins. 

Isaiah 54:7 [GN]--With deep love I will take you back.

1. What comes to mind when you think of the love of God?   
2. Review the points and Bible verses from this lesson. What personal application can you make from this week's teaching? 
3. What are additional ways God proves His love for you? 
4. Take some time right now to pray for the needs of those in your small group.
