And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. Matthew 24:14 [NIV]

Matthew 28:18-20 [NIV]--Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

1. To be a finisher I have to: have a finish line.

Harvest isn't an occupation, it is a preoccupation.
John 4:34 [NIV]--"My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

2. To be a finisher I have to: clear the hurdles.

1 Cor. 6:12 [NIV]--"Everything is permissible for me"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible for me"—but I will not be mastered by anything.

3. To be a finisher I have to: start at the starting line.

Mark 8:34b-35 [NIV]--If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross [daily] and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.
