The following is an update from Jim & Terri Cannon: Just a quick note to say hi to everyone! I have attached photos from the second site, you could see the 'chain' gang' in action tossing the brick from the piles into the building. It is quite a process! The brick delivery truck got stuck, and so it has been quite interesting getting the brick up into this remote area. But we are doing it!!! The wood slat structure in one of the photos is the actual church building they have been using. Thank you to BCA Everett for their donations of time and people to see these churches built. Notice the babies on the mommies backs. We were able to hold an afternoon education class on reproduction and HIV with these ladies, and not one of them knew where babies come from. The surgeon on the team, Dr. Pat Rees was amazed at what they did not know, and with the help of a white board and little creativity she explained a lot of things to them, that I know will help them. The dentist that came with the team also explained how to brush your teeth, and we handed out free toothbrushes. It was just too much fun, is all I can say. It is a real joy to minister to these ladies' lives. And we always pray with them, and encourage them to trust the Lord, and to grow in Him. God bless you each one. Thank you for praying for this team. You are also with us in spirit helping accomplish the work. In
Christ's love,
